O the horror!
Such carnage! The stems of my long-stemmed double tulips chewed through! Entire heads lopped off the shorter, still-budding orange princess tulips! Why? Why? So help me, if I ever find the bunny or the deer that did this...
After my shock and dismay wore off, I fetched a pair of scissors and tried to make the best of the situation.
My flower-arranging skills aren't nearly as good as my Mom's (by the way, Happy Birthday today, Mom!) but this is certainly better than leaving the fallen tulips outside.
