Late Night at the Jazz Estate

Last night we went to the Jazz Estate for a concert by the Steve Peplin Sextet. Ryan has been doing some graphic design work for Steve (including the concert poster, at right). I had never heard Steve play live, so we decided to make a night of it.

I wisely decided to take a disco nap after work so that I could stay awake past the 9:30 p.m. concert start time. It worked! The music was fantastic. The tiny Jazz Estate club was packed. There were people shouting "Pepliiiiiiiin" between songs. There was enough secondhand smoke to kill us all instantly. Fan-freakin-tastic, I say!
