Garden Update

Thanks to a tip from Ab, I chose a different spot for the pink Lily of the Valley. Left to their own devices, they spread out and conquer any soil they can sink their...rhizomes into (ooh, that was a stretch). So instead of planting them alongside the other perennials in our soon-to-be foundation/corner shade garden, I planted them between the back walkway and the garage -- an area bounded on the one side by cement and on the other side by ... a garage. Hopefully they will be good and fill in that garden space over time, and eventually provide a lovely and fragrant enhancement to our back pathway. Right now they are just pips. Here's hoping nothing eats them overnight!
